What is wagyu?
If you're a meat lover, then it's quite likely that you're a huge fan of halal Japanese wagyu. Meaning 'Japanese beef' in Japanese, wagyu is prized for their high degree of marbling (making it very tender) as well as succulent and buttery flavours. Based on their grading system, the yield (the amount of beef proportion) is graded from A to C and the marbling is scored from 1 to 5 (the higher intramuscular fat, the better) which makes A4 or A5 Japanese wagyu the best.
