Situated in Kuala Kangsar, the royal town of Perak in Malaysia, make your way to Victoria Bridge known as the longest railway bridge in Malaysia. Gazetted as a national heritage site in 2016, it was established in 1897 and makes it one of the oldest railway bridges in Malaysia. That is why Victoria Bridge is a unique spots for locals to explore in Kuala Kangsar.

Brimming with historical value, this railway used to transport coal from Karai to Teluk Anson Port back in 1890. Later on between 1910 and 2002, this heritage railway continued to serve trains between Prai and Johor Bahru. According to New Straits Times, the bridge is no longer part of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd’s operation since 2015 when the Ipoh-Padang Besar train system kicked off.
