Just weeks ago, sharp-eyed Malaysians spotted an orange-themed restaurant popping up in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, and the buzz is real! The restaurant belongs to none other than everyone's favourite fried rice critic, Uncle Roger (a.k.a. Nigel Ng)!

Excited beyond words, Uncle Roger took to his X page to spill the tea (or fried rice!) about his new venture. He revealed he’s taking a break from his YouTube “weejios” because he’s busy opening his first-ever restaurant in his hometown, Kuala Lumpur! FUIYOH!
In true Uncle Roger fashion, he shared how surreal this moment feels. "Four years ago, I was just a comedian making silly videos, and now I’ve got a fried rice restaurant that’s definitely going to get roasted by everyone. HAIYAA!"
The grand opening is set for September 11 at Pavilion KL, but that’s not all! Uncle Roger also invited fans to join him on September 14 to break some Guinness World Records by dressing up as…Uncle Roger, of course! Get ready for the ‘largest gathering of Uncle Rogers’—this is your chance to be in one of his videos! Mark your calendars!
P/S: Uncle Roger has confirmed on his Instagram that his restaurant will be halal-certified. Good news for Muslim foodies who want to try his fried rice!
