There are many halal eateries in Singapore's Orchard Road but if you think you've visited them all - well we have something new to add to your list. ? The Tree Cafe serves casual halal Western fare at affordable prices. Western-style dishes can sometimes average between $20-$25 a plate, but the most expensive dish on The Tree Cafe's menu is just $17.90! ? Read on to find out more about your next favourite hangout spot!

What sets them apart from other halal cafés is definitely their All-Day Breakfast menu. You'll find classic breakfast platters here, from Eggs Benedict ($9.50) to Breakfast Pancakes ($9.50). If you're really looking for a hearty start to the day though, their English Breakfast ($11) includes chicken sausage, chicken ham, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, and even slices of baguette. ? Their location at The Cathay is perfect for a laidback, leisurely brunch with your BFFs - or for fuelling up before you visit the IG-worthy spots at Fort Canning nearby!

Don't worry if you're not an all-day breakfast fan because their menu has fusion-inspired pastas and rice bowls too. Personally I loved the Smoked Duck Pasta ($6.50) - the pasta was springy, the duck meat was tender, and the cream sauce was thick but not overly rich. ? Plus it's topped with ground black pepper that adds a yummy kick! Their Mac & Cheese ($6.90), Aglio Olio ($6.50), and Sesame Chicken Rice Bowl ($6.90) are also good if you're looking for simple yet filling meals.

Don't forget to try their mains too! The Funan outlet has the biggest menu with dishes like Beef Steak ($17.90), Sous Vide Duck Confit ($15.90), and Black Pepper Chicken ($9.50) - all for less than $20! ? They even have a Kid's Special ($5.90) platter that includes fish, chicken, pasta, and fries so the whole family can enjoy a meal together.

And of course, don't forget to end your meal with something sweet. ? The Lava Cake & Ice Cream ($8) is the perfect blend of warm and cold to get you feeling excited for the day ahead.

Time to tell your brunch buddies you know what to do for your next weekend hangout!

Halal status: The Tree Cafe has informed us that they are in the process of renewing their halal certification, but their ingredients and recipes have not changed. We recommend you dine at your own discretion.
