Good food and good vibes, that’s what The Stack in Singapore is all about! Run by the same masterminds behind Working Title, The Mad Sailors, Tipo Pasta Bar and many other acclaimed brands, The Stack is a Muslim-owned modern and hip brunch spot that offers unique foods and experiences. And now it has reopened to give diners a taste of hearty and crafty food combinations! ?

A cross between a sandwich house and a dessert bar, The Stack is a rare concept creates tasty food through play and experimentation. The Stack is located alongside Waterloo Street within Stamford Arts Centre, offering artisanal sandos (as they call it!), waffles, freshly brewed coffee and cold desserts. While they offer many kinds of brunch options, their sandos are a hit!

There are a variety of Sandos to choose from, including Spam and Egg and Egg ($12) made up of cold egg salad and spam. For more meat on your bread, try Loaded Gun ($13) with beef salami, turkey ham, beef pastrami and pickles, as well as Pollo Avo Club ($13) with smoked chicken and avocado with spicy aioli and sumac onions, perfect for those who like a touch of spice. ?

But of course, what’s a brunch spot if they don’t offer waffles? ?Choose from unique flavours like Yaks ($12), buttermilk waffles topped with kaya soft serve, coffee cream cheese, shoyu caramel and coconut granola. Or even their Fluff Monster ($13), perfect for marshmallow lovers, including buttermilk waffles with caramelised bananas, chocolate hazelnut and torched marshmallow puffs on top! ? If you’re looking for a savoury waffle option, you can’t go wrong with Morning Glory ($16) is made with liege (thicker and chewier) waffles, smoked salmon, an egg, avocado and srirachaaioli. 

You can’t simply leave The Stack without trying their drinks and assortment of soft serves! ? Choose from their extensive menu of reasonably priced coffees, cold-pressed juices, rootbeers, butterscotch and more. For soft serve lovers, you’ll be in for a treat. There’s Honey Cereal Milk soft serve made with vanilla cornflakes and honey as well as Brown Butter Kaya soft serve with pandan french butter and palm sugar at $6 each. If you’re feeling extra fancy, you could get the Housemade waffles or Charcoal waffles to go with your soft serve. ?Toppings or ‘side pieces’ that you can add on top include a variety like speculoos crumbs, fruity pebbles, granola, berries compote and more for just an additional $1!
