With wooden villas, a picturesque pool and lush jungle surrounds thanks to its location in the Berembun Forest Reserve, it's a serene spot to escape to. The Shorea is split into two main wings - The Shorea Resort and The Shorea Estate. The Shorea Estate features duplexes and suites that are air-conditioned, with some rooms having direct access to private infinity pools. The Shorea Resort, on the other hand, has more rustic lodgings which are naturally ventilated (read: no air-conditioning!) but boast spacious rooms, with the villas equipped with living areas or private balconies, depending on which villa you choose. There are two main pools (for communal use) that stretch out along the two wings, overlooking the scenic greenery.
If you've always wanted to have a floating breakfast experience, good news, you can enjoy that at The Shorea too! Breakfasts are included as part of your stay, and you can enjoy it in style while taking a dip in the pool. There's also in-villa dining services available at extra charge.
