Since the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia due to Covid-19, most of us had been staying at home for more than 2 months. Once the government announced the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) on 7th June 2020, we planned for a 2D1N staycation here at Tanah Aina Fahad, Raub, Pahang. The journey to Tanah Aina Fahad took about 2.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur by car. During the journey, you can find a lot of durian stalls along the road. If you are a durian lover, I’m sure you will stop by.

We stopped by at Lemang To’ki restaurant in Bentong, Pahang on our way to Tanah Aina Fahad for breakfast. We had tasty lemang with rendang (beef/chicken) and also Ayam Bakar. Dont forget to try their popular Lemang and rendang if you come here!

Ambience at Tanah Aina Fahad
As glamping has been trending in Malaysia, we decided to try a new experience of staying at one of the glamping retreats. As all of us are nature lovers, we choose Tanah Aina Fahad as it offers accommodations that allow holiday-makers to be near nature without the hassle of hauling tents and lugging heavy equipment.

Tanah Aina Fahad is an 8-acres resort located next to the famous Lata Jarum nature reserve in Ulu Dong, Raub. It is suitable for all nature lovers who would like to escape the city’s hustle and bustle. Upon reaching Tanah Aina Fahad, guests are greeted with the sound of the river flowing and the beautiful view of Sungai Dong. The sound of the water is so calming and relaxing ?

Once at Tanah Aina Fahad, you will likely start to feel like a different person. You are bathed in beautiful natural sounds; the resort blends in subtly with the surrounding natural landscape, the air smells clean, the flowers sweet, the food is scrumptious, you forget about life at home or work, you become calm, relaxed, and feel like there is no other place you need to be and nothing else that you need to do, except to take the journey of love back to nature.
