Royal FLORIA Putrajaya Returns For A Blooming Good Thyme

Get your cameras ready because the Royal FLORIA Putrajaya is back for another showstopping floral show! Held annually since 2009, the festival is the perfect activity for a fun family day out. This year’s festival promises show gardens, floral design and floristry demonstrations as well as flower shows from local and international participants, where all the attractions will be presented in a garden setting.

The Royal FLORIA Putrajaya opens its doors from 29 August to 4 September 2022 at Anjung Floria, Precinct 4, Putrajaya from 9 am to 10 pm.

This year’s theme is ‘Awesome FLORIA’ and if you’re a fan of orchids, then you’re in luck as it’s the theme flower this time around! About 10,000 orchid plants would be displayed amongst more than 400,000 flowering plants from various species and cultivars as well as ornamental plants culminating in a colourful and fantastic carpet of flowers in a landscaped garden setting.

Main Attractions

The permanent components of the Royal FLORIA Putrajaya such as the Royal Garden and the popular Floral Sky Walk will be there to welcome you. Some of the main highlights at the festival include Keluarga Malaysia Garden, Cowboy Garden, Instagrammable Garden, Wall of Orchids, Oncidium Tunnel, Clock Meadow, Glow in the Dark Garden, and Bonsai dan Suiseki Garden.

As night falls, an amazing experience awaits visitors. The gardens will be filled with waves of vibrant colours from special lighting effects as the main walkways and primary areas namely Red Carpet, Oncidium Tunnel, Dendrobium Walk, and Fantasy Garden are drenched in mesmerising colours. Visitors will be amazed at the innovative use of creative technology to enhance flora and fauna exhibits on display at night!
