For nature lovers who only have a bit of time to spare, you can swing by for a day trip where you're free to enjoy quality time in the river. Polumpung Melangkap has various facilities such as a grocery store, prayer rooms, washrooms, changing rooms and showers.

Since this campsite is situated far from Kota Kinabalu, you can hire a private van to take you on a return trip from Kota Kinabalu to Polumpung Melangkap for RM350. With a driver included, the private van can fit up to 13 guests.
