Orchard Road Business Association announced that this year's light up will bigger compared to last year's to represent resilience and hope amidst the ongoing pandemic. Located at the world-renowned shopping street, the "Christmas Bloom" will put on a spectacular show with its 68km of fairy lights and vibrant decorations from 13 Nov 2021 - 2 Jan 2022 ?

1.Be Amazed With AR Christmas Projection

Although there will be no family-friendly rides and activities like in 2019, this year's will still have that exciting Christmas spirit with a 3D show! The side wall of Mandarin Orchard Singapore will be transformed into a giant outdoor projection to showcase a 10-minute show (from 8PM-10.30PM daily) and those with the PopAR application can just point it at the projection to fully immerse in the show with augmented reality (AR) effects.
To elevate the extravagant AR projection experience, on the eve of Christmas and New Year's Day there will be a special countdown segment for visitors with AR fireworks and more!
2. Christmas Virtual Tour

If you're hesitant about the crowd at Orchard Road but still fancy to enjoy 'Christmas Bloom' then Orba have got you covered with a virtual tour of the shopping street! Starting from Nov 19 until Jan 2, the tour will offer complete 360 degree views, featuring performances by local buskers and you can join in the joyous fun in the comfort of your home.
3. Enjoy Christmas Carols In The Air
Unfortunately, just like last year, there will be no live performances or street activities but the jolly Christmas carols will still be played along the stretch between ION Orchard and Ngee Ann City through speakers. Starting from Nov 1, you can hear the beautiful festive music in the air from 5PM-10.30PM as you walk down the sparkling streets.
4. Festive Deals of The Season
Just like any other annual festival, there will be seasonal deals for Christmas that you shouldn't miss out! Orchard Road is an all-year round shopping paradise for locals and tourists and despite the pandemic going, you can except a lot of rewarding sales.
On another note, Orba also mentioned it will collaborate with Lazada to create the first-ever Orchard Road campaign page, to promote vouchers from many businesses like malls and hotels that have been affected severely with the current dystopian-like situation. There will also other special sales like Cyber Monday, featuring exclusive promotions for Mastercard users.

Last but not least, the sparkling and twinkling decorations are too beautiful to not put on your feed! With its floral theme this year, the streets will revel Christmas with big floral decorations to signify we should bloom with hope and perseverance during these trying times.
The main arch will be at the Scotts-Paterson junction and stretching from Cairnhill-Orchard road junction to the Atrium @ Orchard, viewers can gaze at the white Christmas roses perched and glinting on gold arches. Then, make way to Tanglin Mall until Paterson Junction road to capture the incredible sight of glowing red poinsettias.
This year's Christmas Light-Up is just as magical and better than previous years as Orba is striving to help businesses and at the same time, remind visitors and tourists that this is one of Singapore's iconic and must-visit events.
