The entrance to the resort is airy and open, with no walls to block the view. The lobby opens up to a lawn and cascading staircases that lead to the hotel's pièce de résistance: the swimming pool. The pool stretches out toward the ocean and is canopied by ancient trees. Beyond is a vast stretch of private beach, dotted by spectacular rock formations that are over three million years old.

The resort is committed to building in harmony with its environment. Much of the original vegetation has been deliberately preserved, creating a seamless unity of the natural landscape with the resort's modern architecture. This elegant sense of wildness is truly breathtaking.

The luxury accommodation has 42 Junior Suites, 2 Grand Suites, and 1 4-bedroom villa, known as Villa One. The suites and villas are spread out throughout the resort to ensure privacy for guests. They all have a similar design, with angular facades and lofty timber shutters framed in white stone.

For a truly memorable stay, sleep in the Ocean Junior Suite, which had its own plunge pool that separated two bungalow-type structures. One structure was the bedroom, which had a large sun room with views of the South China Sea. The other structure was the bathroom, which had an oversized soaking tub and separate amenities for men and women.

This summer, the luxurious all-suite resort introduces a touch of Parisian elegance to the region. Dior makes its way to the tropical Desaru Coast with an exclusive pop-up store and café, unveiling their Dioriviera capsule collection. For a stylish period of eight weeks, Dior presents tasteful expressions of the French art de vivre at Ember Beach Club, incorporating contemporary elements of the House. This landmark occasion marks the first collaboration between Dior and One&Only in Malaysia, both renowned for their meticulous craftsmanship, modern sophistication, and celebration of life.

The Dioriviera capsule collection, designed by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, reflects the spirit of this enchanting journey through its ever-evolving pieces that embrace the House's essence. One of the highlights is the reinvented toile de Jouy, featuring soft shades ranging from pink to grey, and cream to blue, evoking the delicate beauty of porcelain. Known as toile de Jouy Sauvage, this variation adorns iconic bags like the Lady D-Lite and the Dior Book Tote, as well as the lining of the new Lady Dior Wicker. It also embellishes scarves, Mitzahs, and the Dior Silk Top, promising a bold allure for the summer. Additionally, the Dior Maison creations are enriched with these captivating sketches, illuminating deckchairs, an umbrella, a surfboard, table tennis rackets, and a set of boules, evoking cherished moments among friends, a sentiment deeply cherished by Christian Dior.

Ember Beach Club, the vibrant hub of the coastal resort, transforms into a captivating seaside exhibition, where the venue is adorned in romantic dusk pink, blending harmoniously with the turquoise ocean and silky white sands of the destination. The summer season commences with larger-than-life sculptures of wild animals found in the emblematic Dior toile de Jouy drawings, creating an immersive experience. Opulent motifs grace the interiors, dining areas, sun loungers, cabanas, and pools of the restaurant, captivating the gaze and leading it to a remarkable Dior retail space set within a sandcastle by the ocean.

Throughout the takeover, the Dior Café at Ember Beach Club offers guests an exquisite dining experience, accompanied by the warm hospitality for which the venue is renowned. Curated by Dior Malaysia Chef Partner Raymond Tham, who is also the co-owner and executive chef of popular Kuala Lumpur restaurants Beta KL and Skillet @ 163, the Mediterranean-inspired menu features flavorful summer dishes that pay tribute to Malaysia's fresh local produce, infused with a luxurious French twist. Chef Raymond is the first Malaysian chef appointed by Dior to curate culinary offerings for their pop-up events, and this collaboration marks his second venture with the brand.

The Dioriviera pop-up store and café at Ember Beach Club runs from 13 June to 6 August 2023, 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
