Halal and aesthetic Japanese-styled cafes are a trend in Klang Valley and they have some of the best desserts and refreshing coffees! Another bakery cafe has joined the halal minimalist cafes around Klang Valley and that's Old Hands Cafeteria! With its picturesque decor and handmade desserts, you'll be coming back for more!

Nestled on the ground floor of a serviced apartment and only a few minutes away from One Utama, Japanese couple, Mr. and Mrs. Okamoto run this aesthetic cafe with only fresh, Japanese pastries and desserts! Everything that you'll find here is handmade, baked fresh everyday by Mr. Okamoto who has over 30 years of chef experience. As soon as you step inside the cafe, the comforting smell of buns baking in the oven will whirl around you. You'll also feel like you're in Japan itself with its beautiful decorations!

This bakery cafe is the spot if you're looking for Japanese pastries. Their menu won't disappoint you as you can find the popular Daifuku Mochi, a soft, sweet mochi fully filled with red bean here! Red bean fillings are made by hand in the house so it's not too sweet or too chunky, it's just perfect. Other red bean pastries include the Anpan and Taikayi which are always sold out fast! But Mr. Okamoto knows his customers and will always bake another fresh batch for customers who missed them!

If you're not a fan of red bean, then worry not as they also have Taikayi with cream cheese or chocolate as fillings. Want something chocolatey and sweet? They've got you covered with their unique Banana Brownies and Dark Chocolate Brownies!

As for drinks, you can't leave the store without trying their delicious Matcha Latte and October's special Watermelon Milk! The Matcha Latte is a great combo with their Yuzu Burnt Cheesecake or Nama Chocolate, cubes of mouth-watering chocolate.

You can also satiate your cravings for savoury pastries with their Tuna Mayo or Onion Cheese buns!
