If you're a fan of yummy and flaky pastry, Mother Dough Bakery will surely be a familiar name to you. The artisanal bakery is known for its sourdough, baguettes, quiche and more. While their current spot at 749, North Bridge Road is super accessible, Mother Dough Bakery will be moving to a new spot soon!
On their Instagram post, Mother Dough mentioned that their current spot is almost 3 years old and that they'll be moving to a new home which they have termed "MODO 2.0". The bakery will be closed from 25 January to 3 February 2021. They will open at their new spot on 4 February 2021. That means that this is the last week to visit their cosy store at North Bridge Road!

For the uninitiated, Mother Dough's bakery is named after a fermentation starter used in bread making. Its baker, Naadhira actually spent 4 years in New York City learning how to perfect the art of bread making.
If you haven't been to Mother Dough yet, one of their signature pastries that you've got to try is their Almond Croissant. Baked to perfection with a delicious almond filling topped with slivered almonds and powdered sugar, you'll definitely want a bite of this yummy treat. If you're a chocolate lover, you can indulge in offerings such as their Chocolate Croissant or a Brownie slice ? Some other favourites include their quiches as well as their savoury buns with fillings such as turkey ham or chicken sausage with gouda or spicy mushrooms.
While Mother Dough Bakery hasn't announced its new location, we reached out to them and they have informed us that the new spot will be in the area too.
