If there's one thing we love about Terengganu, it's the delicious local dishes and street food! Situated on the eastern side of Peninsular Malaysia, this charming Malaysian state also has a food truck area near the Terengganu Drawbridge that's popular among the locals. For foodies who are planning to visit this spot after the Movement Control Order (MCO) ends, you're going to love this news!

Just a 3-minute drive from the iconic Terengganu Drawbridge, a variety of street food awaits at Foodtruck Drawbridge in Kuala Terengganu. Held every night from Thursday to Sunday, families would make their way to Foodtruck Drawbridge for a taste of mango float boba, fried chicken, pizzas and more.

Besides the food selections, another amazing thing about Foodtruck Drawbridge is the newly opened mobile surau, also known as Surau Bergerak, that provides convenience for Muslims to perform their Asar, Maghrib, and Isyak prayers!

Brought together by Yusufhadi Alhafidz and this team, they revamped an old school bus and turned it into a mobile surau that blends well with its surrounding food trucks! This air-conditioned mobile surau also comes with prayer mats and you are required to bring your own prayer garments to pray here.

Once you've completed prayers, take the time to explore the street food selections at Foodtruck Drawbridge! We recommend visiting this famous food truck area after MCO ends as there are many tables and chairs to host your family. If you're craving for cheap eats, these food trucks will also be open for takeaways during MCO!
