Maruki Ramen: A Halal-Certified Japanese Restaurant In Kuala Lumpur

Calling all Japanese food lovers! Maruki Ramen has opened its second outlet at The Grange, Ampwalk in Kuala Lumpur. And yes, it's halal! We recently paid a visit to their new outlet to try some dishes that are not available at its outlet at The Linc, so read on to find out our review!

Aesthetic decor

Can't go to Japan? Well, step into Maruki Ramen at The Grange, Ampwalk and you'll be transported to the Land of the Rising Sun! With its blue-and-white lanterns, natural wood furniture, the restaurant is a cosy place to catch up with your loved ones. It's also easy to find parking in the mall and it's only about 10-minute walk from the Ampang park LRT/MRT Station!

Of course we have to try the ramen! We tried the Classic Kuro Deluxe (RM39.90), where the classic white chicken broth is sprinkled with black garlic oil and topped with glazed chicken roll, premium beef slices and Ajitama soft-boiled egg. The broth is full of flavour and the noodles has the right thickness and chewy. It's perfect!

We also tried the Wagyu Fried Rice (RM48). If you love Wagyu, then you'll love this! Cut into cubes, the beef melts in your mouth while the fried rice is fragrant and perfect for a lunch meal.

If you love sukiyaki, then the Japanese Wagyu Suki-ya (RM68) is a must-try! We loved the tenderness of the beef and the broth is flavourful. It makes the perfect pairing with a bowl of steamed white rice.
