While we absolutely love the amazing malls in and around Kuala Lumpur, there are days where all we want to do is explore someplace new - whether it's seeking out Instagrammable spots or chilling out at a new hipster cafe ?

Well, in case you're in that mood for something new, here's a new eatery in Shah Alam that lets you combine your love for cafes and Instagram! Presenting The Mancave - an automotive-themed cafe in the Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park.

The 2-storey cafe is built with 6 containers and at first glance, it looks like an automotive garage. The cafe was actually conceptualised to blend in with the industrial park. In fact, there's a car workshop, showrooms and a go-kart track nearby!

Besides being a place to eat and hang out, what's interesting is that you can check out the different vehicles that are parked in the cafe and you're free to snap as many photos as you want ?

There's a variety of vehicles from a Ford Mustang to Peugeot, a Ducati motorbike and even this vintage Citroen H Van where you can sit and have your meal. Perfect for car enthusiasts!
But it's not just the vehicles and decor that are a draw here, the menu is pretty special - it's the brainchild of MasterChef Malaysia judge, Chef Jo. One of their special mains is the Tomahawk Wagyu Steak which is sure to satisfy your meat cravings. Their tender Short-ribs Burger seems to be a hit with customers too.

Those of you who prefer a taste of Western-fusion dishes, get their hot plate garlic fried rice! Topped with your choice of meat - teriyaki chicken, salmon or marinated beef with soy and garlic. Nothing like a hearty rice bowl to fill you up ? Try their other appetising fusion treats too like lemak cili padi pasta or green curry pasta.

And of course, their desserts don't disappoint either - cap off your meal with their Black Forest Busty Frappe - decadent chocolate milkshake topped with KitKat, chocolate biscuits, marshmallows and ice cream.
So, if you have no plans this weekend, why not plan a date with your loved ones at The Mancave in Glenmarie! It might be called a "man cave" but it's a really spacious place, suitable for families and large groups. Plus, with so many photo spots, you might just be spending hours here ?
