Through his Facebook post, Thai's Prime Minister mentioned that this significant move is crucial in helping the tourism industry to sustain itself. Without tourism, other businesses would be affected as well. For almost two years, Thailand's tourism sector has been devastated by the pandemic but now it is ready to welcome tourists. It's been a long time since we've been to the land of stunning islands and we are happy to know that we will be lying on the sandy beach with the ocean breeze soon enough.

Although there will be no mandatory quarantine period, tourists must show proof of a negative PCR test result upon arrival. They must also take another test at the airport and book a single night at a government-approved accommodation while waiting for the test result before being allowed to travel freely.

However, after the success of reopening Phuket and Samui this year, more beautiful islands are welcoming foreign tourists this November which include Chiang MaiPhang NgaKrabiHua HinPattaya, and Cha-Am.

If you're planning a trip soon to Thailand, please stay safe and always wear your mask!
