As reported by CNA, Thailand will lift its Covid-19 quarantine requirements for fully-vaccinated travelers coming from 'low-risk countries' that includes Singapore, China, Germany, and United Kingdom among other countries. The list will continue to grow by December 1.

Thailand's Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha mentioned they are only requiring people coming from low-risk countries to provide a negative result of their RT-PCR test before leaving their country and must take another Covid-19 test upon arriving Thailand. If the result comes out negative, tourists are free to travel different areas with the locals.

Before this, Thailand only waived its quarantine period to fully-vaccinated visitors from 14 days to 7 days. CNBC also stated that tourists must stay in hotels or homestays in Bangkok that have more than 70% vaccinated employees and have met the Safety and Health Administration rules.

After the success of Phuket and Samui reopening to vaccinated travelers, Thailand is now ready to expand tourist destinations. Among the places that will open in November are Chiang Mai, Phang Nga, Krabi, Hua Hin, Pattaya, and Cha-Am. Bangkok, however is still in discussion whether to open fully for visitors since it's a high-risk area. Alcohol consumption at eateries will still remain prohibited until further notice in Bangkok.

The government has also allowed more businesses to open to elevate the excitement for tourists. Watch out for spas, cinemas, nail salons and museums as they will be allowed to operate. If you're planning a luxurious holiday, try checking out these 8 luxury accommodation in Thailand!
