If you're looking for halal Chinese food in Singapore you definitely have a wide variety to choose from. Whether you prefer local homecooked-style zi char dishes or authentic Lanzhou-style hand-pulled beef noodles, you're spoilt for choice. ? And if you love both local Chinese dishes and Hong Kong-style dim sum then guess what? The newly-opened Kampung Amin Dim Sum restaurant has both so you don't have to choose between the two cuisines!

P.S. Here are 11 more halal eateries in the nearby Little India and Rochor neighbourhoods!

Kampung Amin opened in early October in Jalan Besar, which is known for its many trendy cafes. This 100% Muslim-owned eatery has an extensive halal Dim Sum menu that includes steamed and fried options! ? Classics like Supreme Har Kao (Prawn Dumpling) and Shiitake Chicken Siew Mai, and even Tiger Prawn Spring Roll all await. There's even a locally-inspired dim sum - the Chicken Satay Bao that's drizzled over with mouth-watering peanut sauce!

Make sure to try the Char Kway Teow which is the chef's signature dish! Their dinner menu (5PM-10.30PM) has even more options than the lunch menu (11.30AM-2.30PM) with Hong Kong-style dishes like Century Egg with Chicken Floss in Special Sauce, and Deep Fried Whole Seabass with Special Hong Kong Style Soy Sauce. ?

New dishes are also being added regularly, including local favourites like Chilli Crab in a Bowl and Seafood HorFun - topped with crispy fried wanton skin. They have dessert options too - from the classic Salted Egg Custard Bao to Sesame Peanut Ball to their weekly specials that are only known in-house! So don't forget to ask the staff what sweet treats are waiting for you during your visit. ?

If you're looking for a quick nibble or a mid-day boost the lunch menu looks appetizing enough, but if you have a huge appetite or are planning for a special meal out then the dinner menu seems like it's just right for you. Make sure to make a reservation and tell your dim sum buddies this is the next place you'll need to visit! ?
