Osaka's Dotonbori area is particularly famous for being a tourist wonderland, and now that Chibo Diversity Muslim Friendly is opening there, there's even more reason to visit!

The first 6 floors of the building were already Chibo outlets, but only the 7th floor houses the Muslim-Friendly outlet! Chibo Okonomiyaki is one of the biggest okonomiyaki chains in Japan, but this Diversity outlet will be their first one dedicated to being Muslim-Friendly, and it’s also the first Halal-certified Okonomiyaki in Osaka! ? The ingredients used are all Halal-certified, and no alcohol is used in any of their cooking. Even their iron griddle pans are brand-new for their grand opening!

Their signature dish is of course their Chibo okonomiyaki (2000 yen before tax), which is packed with beef as well as an assortment of seafood.

The restaurant also serves classic Japanese fare such as yakisoba, wagyu steak, and nabe. If you’re willing to splurge to try all that they have to offer, you can also opt for the Dotonbori course (8000 yen per pax before tax) or Osaka Special Course (15000 yen per pax before tax) which are five-course meals including dessert and salads!
