Have you ever gazed longingly at your screen when your favourite Korean drama characters tuck in enthusiastically into a colourful pot of budae jigae, wondering how it tastes? Or perhaps, you may have tried the kimchi-flavoured broth while on holiday in South Korea, but have been nursing a craving for it since? Well, time to wipe away your drool! Hailing from Seoul, the popular restaurant chain Mukshidonna, which specialises in Korean army stew and tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes) has landed in Singapore AND recently received halal certification!

You probably have been to their first outlet in Downtown East, however, they have recently relocated to Kinex! Similar to their Downtown East outlet, the Kinex outlet has a cosy space that invites diners to chat as they sink their teeth into the shared pot of budae jjigae. Yes - unless you have a huge appetite, it is recommended that you share a pot of the army stew with your seoul mate!

The best part of Mukshidonna's army stew is that you can customise it according to your preferences! Psst...for an extra spring in every bite, you definitely should pile on the cheese ?

If it's your first time, you should order the Cheese Tteokbokki and the original Budae Tteokbokki to add to your pot! You can also add extra Ramyeon noodles for a filling meal. While you can add extra ingredients, the base ingredients that are already ready for you are tteokbokki, odaeng (Korean fishcakes), gochujang, and vegetables.

If you ordered their fried rice, you should leave some leftovers and sauce where a chef will cook the fried rice using whatever is in your hot pot!

So, what are you waiting for? Make a beeline for Mukshidonna for an authentic taste of Seoul!
