IOI City Farm — Malaysia’s First Indoor Farm For Those Who Can’t Stand The Heat

Here’s another spot you can bring your little ones to this weekend! The newly-opened IOI City Farm is an “indoor living planet” where you can get up close and personal with cute animals and fish! Located at IOI City Mall, there are the indoor farm has two levels where you can interact with more than 70 species of plants, small animals and fish. And yes — it’s indoor and air-conditioned so you don’t have to worry about sweating in the tropical heat!

The space has been divided into three zones:

Green Land: aquaponic farming and carnivorous plants

Little Rimba: small and cute animals such as sugar gliders, porcupines, rabbits and fennec foxes. 

FreshWater World: amur sturgeons, kelah, arapaima, and more

With qualified zoologists, aquarists and botanists on board, you and your children will be able to learn more about the natural world. Hence, visitors, especially the young, will also get this rare opportunity to learn from the experts. Plant and animal lovers will feel at home at this interactive and engaging indoor farm park! There will also be a line-up of various activities such as fun fishing, DIY workshops and animal interaction, among others, making it perfect to spend your weekend here!

What’s more unique about it is its 3-in-1 experience offered, which serves as an introductory, fun learning experience about plants, small animals, and aquatic creatures. As it’s located within IOI City Mall, the indoor farm makes it easier and more convenient for families to make the trip. You can go out for a meal or shop after the visit!

Kids: RM48 (weekday), RM58 (weekend)
