What is Hello Ramadan 2023?
As we all may already know, Ramadan is a special time of year for Muslims. We’re encouraged to get closer to our families and loved ones, to be more mindful in the way we act, speak and treat others. It’s a time for self-reflection and giving back to the community and the less fortunate. From 17 March to 27 April 2023, you can look forward to a list of exciting activities! With the theme of Blessings, HHWT’s Hello Ramadan 2023 aims to cover all aspects of Ramadan through sharing stories about extraordinary Muslims, recipes to live well, lucky draws, and a directory of charity organisations for donations.

This section of the event aims to open the hearts and minds of our readers by sharing stories inspired by everyday Muslims as well as the extraordinary lives of those living abroad. Why not spend your time this Ramadan learning about other Muslims and uplifting each other? We’re a more diverse and capable bunch than you’d think! ?
Makan Time
Ramadan isn’t just a test of faith but also a test of strength and tenacity! The modern day Muslim could be reflected as a busy mom, dad or caregiver. Hello Ramadan 2023 will feature weekly recipes you can try out for Sahur and Iftar - so you can challenge yourself to recreate some of our popular recipes (like Korean and Japanese cuisines that are easy to make) or go with the simple fuss-free meals. ? Either way, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide on how to prepare these recipes! There’ll also be Raya recipes for you to get inspired and excite you for Syawal. #WhatAWin

Online & Offline Bazaar
If you love shopping and discovering new brands, Hello Ramadan 2023 has both an online and offline Bazaar with MakBesar (our first collaboration together!) at Expo from 14 to 16 April 2023 called Grand Emporium so you can physically shop with your loved ones or virtually in the comfort of your own home! Explore the many goods and products that can help you prepare for Raya all in one place. ?
Lucky Draw & Photobooth
The event also has a point system. All you have to do is interact with the online event platform to accumulate points and to win attractive prizes including a Sony TV, Tea and Cake Sets, various experiences and much more (stay tuned for more prizes!).
