Veteran Local Goalkeeper Hassan Sunny Serves Malay Delicacies At Tampines

Dapur Hassan, or Hassan’s Kitchen in English, opened in October last year, and has been gaining a loyal following ever since! The hawker stall serves an array of local Malay favourites, from lontong to mee rebus, nasi lemak and various nasi padang dishes such as asam pedas and beef rendang! Some of the best sellers include lontong and mee rebus, so it's definitely a must-try if you’re heading there!

The lontong balances the creaminess of the coconut milk broth and the spiciness of the assorted spices well! Paired with chunky slices of lontong, classic add-on such as fried paru (beef lungs) and tempeh (fermented soy beans) and a dollop of sambal, we’re awestruck at this amazing blend, as we were at his performance at the match!

The thick, spicy gravy is a blend of sweet and savoury flavours in mee rebus that is simply a delight to our taste buds! Add on a generous squeeze of lime juice, and the taste becomes simply heavenly! With prices ranging from $3 to $10, you can gorge on tasty, top-quality food at budget prices, which literally, is a dream for any foodie!

Their top dishes sell out fast, so if you’re going for breakfast, or an early lunch, especially on the weekends, go early! Or if the queues are just too long and you can’t wait to devour these delicacies, they have provided an order form for you to reserve what you like!
You can head down to the stall and sashay past these hungry customers, and collect your food, or wait in the comfort of your home for these aromatic, mouthwatering dishes to arrive at your doorstep! What are you waiting for? Support our local team and their endeavours and head down there now!
Bonus points: You could even meet our local football stars or even the man himself!
