It's no secret that we all love visiting Insta-worthy cafes. Whether it's the aesthetically pleasing food, beautiful decor or impressive architecture, anything and everything that can make a gorgeous shot is welcomed. For today, we'll be exploring halal cafes in KL and Selangor that have taken inspiration from nature. So if you love the outdoors and some greenery in your life, this list is right up your alley!

1. Jibby by the Park

Boasting high ceilings, plenty of natural light and lush green plants, Jibby by the Park gives off greenhouse vibes that are both charming and unique. Truly made for capturing your brunch #ootd, you won’t have any problems finding the perfect background here ? While you're soaking up some sunshine at the al fresco dining area, dig into a hearty breakfast of Champion Brekkie and mouth watering mains like Australian Beef Sticky Ribs and Ayam Bakar Madu.

2. Pokok

Pokok is a glasshouse-inspired eatery that has always been the go-to spot for a meal in a gorgeous setting. With a bright and airy vibe from all the natural light streaming in, you won’t have to worry about capturing beautiful pictures here. Even as you wait in line for a table, it's the perfect chance to capture some gorgeous photos outdoors with greenery surrounding you.

3. Daun

Located just 1-minute away from the popular glasshouse cafe, Pokok, make your way to its sister cafe, Daun where you'll be greeted with a lovely ambiance filled with hanging potted plants and rattan chairs. The all-white space gives the cafe a fresh, clean look, and creates a peaceful vibe that puts you at ease. As you snap away for some Insta-worthy shots, make sure to enjoy their pastries, desserts and coffee while you're there.

4. Tujoh

Say hello to Tujoh, a cosy cafe tucked away in the quiet suburbs of Petaling Jaya. Considered a hidden gem if you aren't a local living in the area, step into its homey space where creamy lattes, delicious food and a great ambiance await you. Once you've placed your order, cop a table underneath the skylight and enjoy a comfortable catch-up session with your friends.

5. Little Rimba

Literally translated to Little Jungle in English, you definitely want to be camera ready for this place ? Its stunning interior decor is jungle-inspired, with lots of wood, white, and greens. Large ceiling-to-floor windows allow plenty of natural light, perfect for your foodie photos. Outside, they have two feature walls (one with a giant tiger!) that's great for your Instagram feed ?

6. Merchant’s Lane

Housed in a heritage shop-house, make your way to Merchant's Lane - a beautiful rustic cafe that's hidden in the heart of Petaling Street. Ascend the narrow stairs where you'll be greeted by a bright yet cosy space filled with wooden furniture and decor. Then venture further into the cafe and grab a table at the outdoor dining area.

7. FEEKA Coffee Roasters

Keep your eyes peeled for FEEKA Coffee Roasters that's cleverly situated among a row of converted town houses. If you're here for the nature, make sure to seat yourself at the outdoor area for some sunshine or cool breeze. Feel your stress melt away as you unwind in the lush atmosphere of the cafe while sipping on one of their signature coffees - all of which are brewed from beans sourced from local roasters.

8. Bukku Cafe

This hidden gem might be tucked away in Bandar Bukit Raja but it's well worth a visit for its cozy atmosphere! Their indoor seating might be limited but they have an outdoor dining area in their backyard, complete with wooden furniture and plants - perfect for that #ootd shot. If you're looking for a peaceful hangout session with your partner or close friend, be sure to head over to Bukku Cafe.

9. Burrow

Located at Bangsar Shopping Centre, this charming cafe made its debut in mid-January 2021. And while they're currently on a trial MCO run, we're hoping they'll be here to stay for a long time because they've hit the mark on everything there is to love about cafes - cosy aesthetics, amazing coffee and of course, mouthwatering desserts and pastries! Although dine-in is not available at the moment, you can still treat yourself to their freshly-baked canelés, buttery croissants and house special lattes.
