It's early in the morning and all your favourite halal food stalls have closed. The halal Japanese and Western food stalls don't open so early in the morning and you're craving for a warm meal to start your day. If Indonesian food's in your list of food to try, you have to head down to the North East for a hearty and filling breakfast at Selera Sumang. Nestled in a corner of Punggol at Foodgle Hub, this hidden gem of a halal eatery serves up fresh, halal Indonesian and Malay dishes catered to suit local taste buds every morning. From Nasi Rawon to Nasi Sambal Goreng, you're not going to be disappointed by their menu items. The best bit is that their food is so good they sell out before 12pm!

It's always first come first serve at Selera Sumang, and rightly so. Their dishes are served piping hot on a plate (or for takeaways, if you're not vaccinated yet!) and they're always fresh and absolutely delicious.

Selera Sumang's breakfast menu items consist of every Indonesian food fan's favourites. If you're looking to savour a dish all for yourself, try their Nasi Sambal Goreng, Nasi Rawon or Nasi Lemak. They also have noodle dishes for you to choose from. You may also want to opt for their Mee Soto!

Big parties are also invited (within the covid restrictions, of course)! Their Nasi Ambeng platter is enough for 4 people and sells for less than $50. You can also choose to buy a platter for 2 for $28.80. Grab a friend and share this delicious dish with them, or bring it home for the whole family - either way, you won't be disappointed.

And if you're in the mood for Nasi Padang, Selera Sumang serves up Sambal Sotong, Ayam Belado, Rendang, and any other Nasi Padang favourites! Have your pick of flavourful Indonesian dishes with steaming hot white rice for breakfast every morning... As long as you manage to get there on time ? Due to their popularity, the snaking queue starts early - but we promise you, you want to be part of it.
