Chef-owner Ghazali Ibrahim only opened this place last year in the heart of Novena at Goldhill Plaza, a 4-minute walk from Novena MRT Station. Passionate about making food and inspiring the young generation to take on big dreams, he started Gus Pizzeria - serving up pizza, pasta and Calzone (a folded pizza stuffed with the usual ingredients and served with fresh tomato sauce on the side). Did we mention that they ferment their dough for 72 hours to give it that super soft yet crispy texture that we all love? You'll definitely get to experience a whole different level of pizza here! ? They even share the differences between types of pizza on their Instagram story, from Neapolitan to Rome and New York pizza, evidently proving their choice of serving Neapolitan pizza. (Hint: It contains half the amount of calories for those of us counting ?) Their normal menu includes the Margherita, the queen of pizzas topped with fresh basil, Diavola with spicy salami and mushrooms, Genovese Pesto using their home-made pesto and mushrooms, and Quattro Formagi, a 4-cheese mozarella pizza for those of us who love cheese! They've also recently added a Bolognese Pizza to their menu consisting of house-made Bolognese and red onions for that added tang kick. Or if you prefer your sandwiches, they have home-made sandwiches consisting of spicy salami too!
