786 Char Kway Teow might be a small one-man operation, but it's one of the most famous halal char kway teow stalls in Singapore! Run by a Chinese revert, Mr Anis, each plate of char kway teow is topped with juicy cockles and there's a fragrant 'wok hey' char smell that'll make your mouth water. 🤤 If you prefer the cockles to be cooked throughout make sure to tell Mr Anis! P.S. As Mr Anis is the only one manning the stall, do be understanding if he takes some time to cook your order or process your inquiries. Halal status: Muslim-owned Opening hours: Sat-Thurs; 12PM-8PM (Closed Fridays) Address: 115 Bukit Merah View, Bukit Merah Hawker Centre #01-28, Singapore 151115

3. Aspirasi
Aspirasi is probably one of the best places in Singapore for Malay-style chicken rice. The best part is their chicken that's been fried to a perfect crisp and the crispy crumbs makes the dish even better! 🤤 Choose a range of sauces to go with your chicken from sambal to lemon, sweet & sour, and even black pepper. It's the perfect meal after a tiring day exploring the sights of Singapore! #HHWT Tip: During weekends and peak periods the stall can sell out by 3PM so we recommend getting there by 11AM to make sure you can get a plate! Halal status: Muslim-owned Average price: $4 Opening hours: Tues; 10.30AM-9PM, Wed-Sun; 10.30AM-8PM (Closed Mondays) Address: 2 Seah Im Rd, Seah Im Food Centre #01-45, Singapore 099114 Website | Facebook | Instagram

Located facing the bus interchange next to Seah Im Food Centre, Farasha Muslim Food is another stall serving up your favourite local Malay dishes like Ayam Penyet, Ayam Goreng, and Nasi Lemak. 😁 Their must-try dish is the Ayam Nasi Goreng - the chicken is soft and tender while still having a crispy skin! Thaksin Beef Noodle  serves up Thai-style beef noodles packed with flavour. 🤤 The beef chunks are tender, and if you opt to mix in tripe and other offal they're all soft and chewy too. The chilli flakes pack a real punch - if you can't handle spice, be careful not to sprinkle too much over your noodles! Their chilli sauce also has a strong citrusy sourness to it, so go sparingly and don't overseason your bowl. (And yes, you can request to not have basil leaves or coriander added. 😁) Halal status: Halal-certified Average price: $8 Opening hours: Open daily; 10AM - 9.30PM Address: 2 Seah Im Rd, Seah Im Food Centre #01-38/44, Singapore 099114 Facebook
