[Updated 9 July 2020]

For some of us, cafe-hopping is always better when we've got the company of our loved ones. It adds meaning to the heart-shaped latte art we see and the decadent desserts we savour. And if the only thing missing is a cafe to host your perfect afternoon, we've rounded up the best halal cafes in KL for a weekend brunch date ?

1. Erni & Tina

A pretty brunch space that deserves a square in your Instagram feed, Erni & Tina is dotted with hanging light fixtures, decadent cake displays and fresh-white counters. Cosy enough for a meal of coffee, cakes and comfort food, you can share everything from spaghetti bolognese to mac and cheese with beef with your loved one.

#HHWT Tip: During weekends and peak hours, it's challenging to score a parking space where this cafe is located. So save yourself from the parking headache and come before noon.

You don't have to think twice about coming to Le Petit Dotty for brunch. There's always the lunchtime mains such as lamb stew, spaghetti carbonara with turkey slice, and pan seared salmon waiting for you.

#HHWT Tip: If Le Petit Dotty is packed to the brim, check out their sister eatery named Dotty's at Suria KLCC and Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Finding an empty parking spot at Dotty's can be challenging during weekends and peak hours too, so come in the morning.
