1. Om Burger

Deliciously sloppy and saucy, you’ll forget how hungry you were after taking a bite out of Om Burger. Managed by owner Shahril and his son, drop by his food truck that’s parked in front of a 7-Eleven store. Whether you decide to order the beef burger special or the hot dog jumbo, prepare to wait at least 15-20 minutes during peak hours. Trust us, you won’t be the only one waiting in line and we’ve heard local artists like Aliff Satar and Norman Hakim have queued for a bite too. When the owner finally hands over your order, prepare to dig into its fresh-off-the-grill creation that is usually topped with a fried egg and loaded with mayonnaise and tomato sauce.

8. Salt & Pepper Restaurant

Salt & Pepper Restaurant has been around for three years now, and the aim is simply to put mouthwatering dishes on a plate. As humble as their ambitions may be, their burgers are made to stand out. Spongebob Squarepants fans would enjoy taking a bite out of Crabby Patty that consists of deep-fried soft shell crab, onion rings and homemade garlic sour sauce. If you want to experience heat on a different level, there's a burger named Explosive Inner Core Burger where the homemade beef patty is spiked with chilli Naga Jolokia, also known as ghost chilli pepper. 10. JAHHET Fine Meat

Since the burger selection is limited, you don't need to think twice about giving Jahhet Mushroom Burger a shot. If you love the greasy goodness of burgers, cheesesteaks, and chicken wings, Grease is the place for you. Situated at Persiaran Akuatik in Shah Alam, you'll be pleased to know that this place serves pretty generous servings of cheese on almost everything on the menu. Nudge the server for it, but stay focus on the Greasy Messy Burgers section. 12. Positano Risto

We've written about Positano Risto, the halal Italian restaurant in KL you should know about, and this time, we steer away from their lip-smacking honey glazed ribs and cheesy Margherita pizza to talk about burgers. Positano Risto has two burgers to try called the single patty classic beef burger and Romeo's whopper. If you only have an appetite for one burger, we recommend going with the former to savour grain-fed beef brisket patty served in a homemade sesame bun. There's nothing like trying an elevated twist on the classic burger.
