This first phase of the hotel's multi-year transformation offers new tranquil spaces amidst lush gardens and cascading waterfalls, all in the heart of the iconic Orchard Road district. This reimagined urban sanctuary is designed to provide experiences grounded in sustainability and wellness, perfect for the modern traveller.
The reopening kicks off with the nature-inspired Terrace Wing, complete with an enhanced Fitness Centre, a 25-meter lap pool, and delightful dining options like StraitsKitchen for local ethnic cuisine and BRIX, a vibrant nightlife hotspot. Plus, 10|Scotts will operate as the Grand Club Lounge until early 2025, and all 16 event spaces will be available for magnificent celebrations and memorable events.
Later in 2024, look forward to the Southeast Asian debut of Le Pristine Singapore, in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman. The beloved Martini Bar will also return, along with classic Italian favourites at Pete’s Place and poolside dining at Oasis. And let’s not forget Damai, the wellness hub offering enhanced holistic well-being experiences.

In early 2025, the Grand Wing will reopen, completing the hotel’s transformation into a Grand Living Room and Wellness Haven with 699 guestrooms and suites. These diverse spaces are perfect for gathering, celebrating, and rejuvenating.

Jointly designed by Tokyo-based Strickland and NAO Taniyama, along with U.K.-based landscape architects Grant Associates, the transformed Terrace Wing offers a secluded world immersed in nature. With a meandering tropical garden and refreshed wellness facilities including a 24-hour Fitness Centre, a 25-meter lap pool, and an outdoor lawn for guided meditation, yoga, Pilates, and boot camps, it’s a haven of relaxation.

The 292 Terrace Wing rooms feature soothing neutral tones with ice-green marble accents and elegant wooden furnishings, evoking a resort ambience. Starting from 42 square meters, the rooms are among the largest in Orchard Road, featuring modern amenities like a cosy daybed, dual-sink vanity, and a multi-purpose table. The newly created 1 King Bed Premium with Garden Access guestrooms offer direct access to the gardens and pools, perfect for sun loungers. The three Presidential Suites, each spanning 252 square meters, are ideal for hosting exclusive private events or indulging in luxurious relaxation.
Refined Epicurean Indulgence
Guided by Hyatt’s food philosophy, “Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served,” Grand Hyatt Singapore will continue to deliver grand gourmet experiences with new, diverse menus inspired by global and local cuisines.
- StraitsKitchen: Known for its vibrant marketplace ambiance and extensive array of uniquely Singaporean specialties, StraitsKitchen returns with refreshed interiors and perfected menus, featuring halal-certified favorites like chili crab, laksa, butter chicken, and satay.
- BRIX: A lively underground nightspot with three sections – Main Bar, Wine Bar, and Whisky Bar – BRIX offers live music from an international band.
- 10|Scotts: Until the new Grand Club Lounge opens in 2025, 10|Scotts will offer complimentary afternoon teas, snacks, and small bites for World of Hyatt Globalists and club-access guests.
- Oasis: Reopening in August 2024, Oasis will feature all-day poolside dining with BBQ, cocktails, and live DJ music.
- Pete’s Place: Since 1973, Pete’s Place has been a beloved icon for classic Italian cuisine. It will return with familiar comforts.
- Le Pristine Singapore: Debuting in October 2024, this restaurant will present Chef Sergio Herman's Michelin-starred contemporary cuisine with Zeeland influences, complemented by a revamped Martini Bar.
Sustainability Efforts
Leading the way in sustainable hospitality since 2002, Grand Hyatt Singapore will operate on 100% renewable electricity, thanks to a partnership with local retailer FLO Energy. The hotel’s in-house food waste management plant will feature a contactless WasteMaster automated system, and a new automated in-house water bottling plant will provide purified water in reusable glass bottles, reducing plastic waste. The reimagined Damai will offer elevated wellness experiences blending therapeutic rituals backed by science and traditional remedies. New facilities include the Wellness Pool, Halo Steam Room, Dual Therapy Sauna, Air Lounge Hydro Pool, a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, a 25-meter lap pool, and an outdoor area for guided wellness sessions.
