If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine (like us!), we're pretty sure you're always on the lookout for halal Japanese food! Good news for those of you living in Singapore, there's a new halal ramen restaurant in town called Goshin Ramen ?

Located at Terminal 4 of Changi Airport, Goshin Ramen just got their halal certification and we're super excited because that means more halal Japanese food options in Singapore! Goshin Ramen offers a variety of bases for their ramen broths, such as prawn and chicken/salt.

P.S. Did you know there's such a wide variety of halal food at Changi Airport? We've rounded them up in this ultimate guide!

As their menu is pretty extensive, you'll definitely have a hard time choosing what to eat but we're setting our eyes on their selection of Ebi Ramen (prawn-based soup)! What's interesting is that they use a traditional method of braising prawns for up to 36 hours to extract the natural sweetness of prawns, giving it an umami flavour. Prawn lovers would love their Daikairo Ramen ($16.80), which is prepared using huge prawns. If you're up for a big meal or looking for something to share, feast on their Kaisen Moriawase Ramen ($36.80) which is a combination of prawns, clams, crayfish and scallops ?

P.S. Heading to Jewel Changi Airport? Our all-in-one guide will be perfect for you!

Their Shio Ramen (chicken and salt-based) options are not to be missed too. Goshin uses pink salt to enhance and extract the natural flavours of the ingredients in the ramen. Some of the recommended dishes from this selection include their Wagyu Karubi Ramen (wagyu beef ribs) and Aburi Maguro Ramen (torch-seared tuna sashimi)!

Not a fan of soup-based ramen? Don't worry - Goshin Ramen also has dry ramen too. If your taste buds are up for an adventure, try their Ramen Rebus ($14.80), which is their Japanese Chef's take on Mee Rebus. Their Toryufu Ramen ($16.80) is also a creative twist as it's topped with truffle and sauteed mixed mushrooms ?

But it's not just ramen that you can enjoy at Goshin Ramen; their variety of donburi (Japanese rice bowls) seem really mouthwatering too. Fill your tummy with classic Japanese dishes like Wagyu Donburi ($16.80) and Tori Katsu Kare Don (Japanese curry, $14.80) or try their fusion Nasi Lemak Donburi ($14.80)!

Don't forget to complete your meal with their sushi options like aburi shake (seared salmon sushi), avalanche sushi rolls and a range of sushi platters. Add in some salmon or tuna sashimi into the mix and you'll be satisfying all your cravings for Japanese food! Not to mention that their sides are super appetising too - from yakitori to takoyaki, assorted tempura, soft-shell crab and more ?

With such an extensive range of ramen, donburi, sushi and more, looks like Goshin Ramen will be our next favourite spot for a fulfilling Japanese meal! Thanks to its convenient location at Changi Airport, you can drop by whenever you're flying out of Singapore or coming home from your vacation.

P.S. Goshin Ramen is open during the 2020 Chinese New Year long weekend!
