1. Browse books Tsutaya Books at Pavillion Bukit Jalil
You’ve probably seen the photos and videos all over social media when Tsutaya Books opened its doors a couple of weeks ago. Now that the hype has slowed down and the queue isn’t too long anymore, it’s the perfect time to check it out yourself! Japan’s largest bookstore chain, is famously known as “one of the world’s most beautiful bookstores” and this first South-East Asia outpost store does not fail to impress with over 264,000 books, lifestyle and fine stationery items and a snug cafe under its roof. Books AND coffee? Sign me up!
2. Enjoy a mind-bending experience at the Museum of Illusions KL
This Instagrammable attraction located at the heart of Bukit Bintang features dozens of illusions, holograms, puzzles, and specially designed rooms that are curated to trick, confuse and educate visitors of all ages. 4. Cafe-hopped at Rama Puteh
If you’re cafe-hopping this weekend, you must include Rama Puteh in your list! It’s an artsy cafe with museum vibes and al fresco dining. There are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots that are scattered around the cafe, like rainbow arches and monochromatic stairways. The indoors’ interiors are just as striking. The second floor of the cafe is in a fully monochromatic Tiffany blue — yes, even the plants! Super trippy!

5. Channel your inner yogi

6. Enjoy an Indian classical dance performance
Be mesmerised by Kirthana Sukumaran as she dances and twirls for her performance for A Bouquet of Love. She started dancing at the age of eight years old and now, at 17 years old, she’s set to take over the Bharatanatyam stage. Kirthana is the first dancer from Sutra Dance Outreach Program to do a Bharatanatyam dance. So, be sure to check her out!

7. Dive with sharks at Aquaria KLCC
If you want to challenge yourself, experience the ultimate adrenaline rush of meeting a real-life shark at Aquaria KLCC. The 60,000 sq ft attraction is home to over 5,000 sea creatures, including tiger sharks and nurse sharks. You can get up close and personal to these predators without the need for a diving license in its Cage Rage (RM235) package.
Booking is needed and you’ll have to be at least 15 years old to take part. t may ease your jitters to know that Aquaria KLCC has been running this Cage Rage programme since around 2012, so the instructors are pretty experienced.

8. Check out BTS & Seventeen’s In The Soop Pop-up Store
Calling all Malaysian ARMY and CARAT (read: what the fandoms of BTS and Seventeen call themselves, respectively): In The Soop pop-up store offers official merchandise from the South Korean reality series which stars both K-pop boybands. Among the merch available for purchase include loungewear, plushies, outdoor apparel, and lifestyle products for the home. Fans can also look forward to photo ops with In The Soop’s adorable mascot, Soopy at the pop-up.
