ESCAPE Cameron Highlands: Upcoming Theme Park In Malaysia
According to New Straits Times, ESCAPE Cameron Highlands is a joint project between Hektar Muda Sdn Bhd and the renowned Sim Leisure Group that has built some of the greatest parks around the world including The Lost Paradise of Dilmun in Bahrain, Bollywood Theme Park in Dubai and Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi.
Some of the things you can look forward to at ESCAPE Cameron Highlands are a 1.2km dry ski slope (Malaysia's very first), ESCAPE Gravity Play slides and attractions, European-inspired games like street bowling, cheese rolling as well as food vendors and glamping accommodations.
P.S. Did you know that ESCAPE theme park in Penang holds the record for the world's longest tube water slide?
The park will also feature five different European villages, all at varying elevations. Starting with the Iberian village at the bottom, visitor will then find the British, Balkan and Nordic villages as they ascend before finding the Alpine village at the very top.
Founder of Sim Leisure Group and ESCAPE Theme Parks - Sim Choo Khen said "The conception of these five themed villages leveraged on our expertise in designing and building themed facades across multiple theme parks around the world, including Europe. These themed villages will also feature accommodation and rental offerings, in addition to hosting traditional European pastimes and activities, which will complement the 'fun factor' of ESCAPE's signature Gravityplay and Adventureplay attractions."
