With the ongoing pandemic, travelling abroad is still a high risk and many countries require travelers to take a Covid-19 pre-departure test (PDT) and only most of the time, only Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests are valid. The test result must be negative before you are allowed to cross borders and the timeframe the test needs to be taken differs to various countries around the world. That being said, if you're planning to take a PDT to travel abroad, here's a list of MOH approved clinics to conduct PCR pre-departure tests in Singapore under $145!

1. Millennium
Millennium offers various testing services for Covid-19 and their PCR test is priced at $100. However, we are not sure if it is inclusive of GST but this is the self-pay price and you may pay with your insurance as long as you provide current insurance info before testing. 2. ProHEALTH
ProHEALTH clinics have various types of Covid-19 tests and their PDT PCR swab test costs only $115! But, there are no copays or deductibles for any tests as they will bill your insurance company so do provide your up to date insurance information before testing.

3. Intemedical Kovan
For $125 inclusive of GST, Intemedical Kovan supplies pre-departure swab tests for travelers. You'll be able to receive your results within 24-36 hours and you could make an appointment through here or Whatsapp them at 65 8879 9404!

4. MinMed Clinics
Pre-departure tests are available at all eight MinMed clinics and their PDT to foreign countries (except China) is $128 and you should make your booking through their Covid-19 site here. PDT for flight to China however, costs $178 and express PCR swab tests which cost $388 are not applicable for flights to China. You'll receive your test results between 30-36 hours via email.

5. SATA CommHealth Medical Centre
Pre-departure Covid-19 tests are available six SATA CommHealth Medical Centres which are in Uttamram (Bedok), Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands, Jurong, Tampines, and Potong Pasir. To make a booking, you can call their hotlineand you may select any day from Monday-Friday (8AM-5.30PM) and Saturday (8AM-1.30PM). When making an appointment, you should provide your email and contact number as they will email your test result within 48 hours. One PTD swab test costs $135 with GST here.

6. ATA Medical
ATA Medical Singapore provides the pre-departure PCR test to travelers for the price of $138 inclusive of GST. Do note that other swab tests cost more and Express Pre-Departure PCR test will cost you $328 if you need a test result urgently. All bookings should be made through their website here.

7. Kingsway Medical Clinic
Kingsway Medical Clinic provides PDT PCR swab tests at $138 including GST and if you do your swab test before 5pm, you will get your result the next day by 2pm. If you do your test after 5pm, your result will be available 2 days later by 2pm.

8. Parkway Shenton
All Parkway Shenton clinics offer the pre-departure PCR swab test at $138 inclusive of GST. Tests can only be done between 48 to 72 hours before your flight and you should book an appointment through their website. You'll need to bring identity card or passport and flight itinerary that shows your departure time.

9. OneDoctors
Four OneDoctors clinics have the PDT for Covid-19 and they charge $145 inclusive of GST. They don't charge consultation fees if swab tests are taken for travels and you have to bring your passport and identity card for your appointment. Test results will be available within 24 hours and you should call the clinics to book a slot.
