Get ready, Singapore! Chingay Parade 2025 is just around the corner, bringing an explosion of colours, culture, and creativity to the streets! Happening on 7 & 8 February at the F1 Pit Building, this year’s theme, “Joy”, invites everyone to celebrate the beauty of shared experiences through food, performances, and dazzling floats.
Even if you don’t have tickets to the main event, the fun doesn’t stop there! Chingay 2025 extends beyond the parade with exciting unticketed events, heartland celebrations, and interactive activities for all ages throughout February.
Here’s what you can look forward to!
PAssionArts Street
PAssionArts Street, located in front of the F1 Pit Building, will be buzzing with creativity! Stroll through a mesmerising showcase of visual art installations from the PAssionArts Festival, including Giant Delight and Joyous ART-VENTURE, all co-created by residents, students and community artists.
Join in the fun with participatory art workshops, watch vibrant live performances, and show your support for Chingay’s UNESCO joint nominationwith Malaysia at the Road to UNESCO Exhibits!
Chingay Community Floats
One of the most heartwarming highlights of Chingay is the Chingay Community Floats, where residents and local artists come together to create stunning, handcrafted floats!
First introduced in 2022, this initiative lets communities co-create and showcase their artistic talents on a national stage. It’s more than just art—it’s about fostering friendships, celebrating diversity, and strengthening community bonds.
This year’s Chingay Parade transforms into a culinary spectacle! Featuring an overture and five acts, the show will take you on a journey through Singapore’s rich food culture with vibrant floats, dazzling costumes, energetic performances, and an incredible four-level stage where the entire parade showcases 4,000 performers!
Expect larger-than-life food-inspired floats, colourful choreographies, and lively music that celebrate the multicultural spirit of Singapore.
Even if you don’t have tickets, you can still catch the parade from the Free Admission Area and soak in the festive atmosphere!
Chingay@Heartlands: Bringing the Festivities to You
Missed the main parade? Don’t worry! Chingay 2025 continues across eight heartland locations until the first weekend of March, bringing the excitement straight to your neighborhood. Expect float processions, performances, and interactive experiences that make Chingay a true celebration for everyone, young and old!
