Public Area
1. Flap Pix

Do you remember the iconic Flight Information Board in Terminal 2? It has been a crucial centrepiece of the terminal for travellers to find flight information. The iconic clicking sound of the flipboard's many letters is now being transformed into the Flap Pix. This board repurposes the 1080 spit-flaps and re-tells the story of the board, literally. It creates images out of letters and gives you an up-close view of the board in action. It is also open 24 hours so you can drop by anytime!

1. 2 Bears Hideout

Those of you with young kids in tow can let your kids run around the newly built 2 Bears Hideout playground. It's an adorable playground that is an artistic interpretation of a forest with a Mother Bear and a Baby Bear. The playground is designed for 6 to 12 years old. The main attraction is the slide built into one of the bears, which your child can easily slide down. It's placed right in front of the window facing the aeroplanes, so your children will be thoroughly enthralled by the playground and the planes scooting about outside. It's open 24 hours too!
2. TV Lounge

Credit: Changi Airport
Need some rest and relaxation? There's a TV Lounge available for you to relax in front of. It's more akin to a huge screen that feels like a movie theatre. It's a great place to unwind after a long flight or before your journey ahead.
3. Gourmet Garden

If you want some greenery to bask in, there's a Gourmet Garden available that you can visit. There are plants draped across the spaces and many food stalls where you can grab snacks or drinks. It's right next to the floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a great view of the planes scooting around.
Terminal 2's revamp will be an exciting venture for both visitors and locals alike.
