2. Chilling Waterfall, Selangor

Situated 21 kilometres from Kuala Kubu Bharu in a reserve called Sungai Chilling Fish Sanctuary, the highlight of your camping experience at Chilling Waterfall will no doubt be the three impressive vertical waterfalls. The lower water cascade is best for a relaxing swim while the third and uppermost section is a more ideal spot to set up camp.

Surrounded by tall, lush trees, The Perah Camp Site at the Forest Reserve Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is a great place for a camping spot. You'll find everything you need on-site like a kitchen, a hall and also restrooms. While they do have chalets in the area, FRIM rents out sleeping bags and tents so you can be as close to nature as possible. While you're here, don't miss out on activities like biking and jogging on the many routes and treks to explore different parts of the forest.

4. Rumah Kebun Camping Grounds

Rumah Kebun is a private homestay in Hulu Langat, Selangor and is popular thanks to the Instagram-worthy shot of its beautiful blue pool that's fed by natural spring water! If you'd like to go camping here, Rumah Kebun Camping Ground is a great spot to set up your tents. You're recommended to bring your own tents, but they also provide tent rentals if you don't have any. So, it's perfect if you're a first-timer at camping!

5. Sungai Pisang Waterfall

Deep within the district of Gombak lies Sungai Pisang Waterfall where you'll stumble upon a pair of twin tunnels on your journey to the waterfalls! There are a few campsites in the area, all you have to do is choose the one that suits your group best. Do note that since the campsites are located on higher ground, you'll need to travel down a steep slope in order to reach the waterfall. So make sure to wear a good pair of hiking shoes or rubber shoes that have a good grip.

6. Commonwealth Forest Park Falls

Also known as Taman Eko Rimba Komanwel, the Commonwealth Forest Park Falls offers a scenic view of a sweeping lush jungle. Ideal for kayaking and camping, there are four designated camping zones offering up to 51 campsites located near two rivers and the main entrance. You can also enjoy jogging tracks, hiking trails as well as other amenities that will make your green getaway an exciting one.
