2. Islamic Centre Canteen

What’s a trip to Hong Kong without dim sum? Islamic Centre Canteen is a convenient 10-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station. It’s quite easy to find this eatery as it’s located in a mosque, Masjid Ammar. Take the lift up to the 5th floor and you’ll be greeted by the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere, where you’ll find locals meeting for yum cha (drinking tea).

Choose from their range of steamed and fried dim sum! We recommend the siu mai with chicken and har kow (steamed shrimp dumplings). For the fried dim sum, the shrimp wonton is fried to perfection and is a must-try!

#HHWT Tip: Do note that the dim sum is only available until 3pm. We recommend going as early as possible, as some of the dim sum can be sold out by as early as 12pm. But if you’re coming later, don’t worry, they offer other dishes like rice, noodles and stir-fried items too.
