You know a shopping centre's great when it’s a favourite among locals as well! This six-storey mall is where you can get everything and anything, so make sure you enter Pasar Baru with a concrete plan in hand.

Each floor is dedicated to different fabrics ranging from sewing cloth, religious wear, clothes for youth and more.

Hone your bargaining skills here as prices are usually not fixed! Start by asking for a 50% discount and see how far you can go.

The street leading to Pasar Baru is also filled with rows and rows of street peddlers selling their ware, including little Indonesian snacks or oleh-oleh that you can take home as souvenirs for the family! A trip to Pasar Baru can take up to half a day so do plan ahead before you come!

8. Pasar Kota Kembang

Pasar Kota Kembang is the Bandung equivalent of Bugis Street in Singapore! Get ready for rows and rows of small shops within a 1-meter street selling all kinds of cheap goods here from shoes, accessories, bags and clothes.
