After the Jurong Port Fishery and KTV clusters, restrictions tightened around the island - including Singapore's beloved National Day Parade ? While the National Day ceremonial parade got us all in a patriotic mood, many questions have yet to be answered about Singapore's National Day Parade happening on 21st August 2021. Will it be safe for the audience? Will it be just as big as every other year? Will there be fireworks?

1. Where will 21st August's NDP be held?
21st August's NDP will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay. Under the Public Order Act, areas around The Float @ Marina Bay on August 21st will be designated as special areas! Which means that strict security measures will be imposed to ensure public safety and security.
P.S. In the area? Gardens By The Bay Has A New Orchid Exhibit With Over 1000 Orchid Blooms.
2. What Covid-19 measures will be put in place?
Speaking of public safety and security, COVID-19 measures will be put in place to ensure both the spectators' and performers' safety!
As everyone knows by now, spectators for the parade on august 21 will be made up of Singapore's very own Covid-19 heroes: those who have worked in the front lines, in essential roles, and even volunteers who have stepped up in the community to help with the pandemic. To ensure the safety of our heroes, spectators will undergo pre-event testing.
Performers will also be going through safety measures to ensure their and the public's safety. While preparing for the upcoming NDP, rehearsals will be conducted in smaller component groups. Performers will also have to undergo antigen rapid test (ART) before every rehearsal.
3. Will there be fireworks?
As far as we know, the parade on august 21st may include fireworks! Hotels such as The Capitol Kempinski Hotel, Parkroyal and Fullerton have packages centering around the upcoming parade on the 21st of august, with rooms facing the float to view the fireworks!
4. Will we be able to watch the event live?
While there aren't many details present yet about the parade on august 21st, you may be able to watch it on television or virtually from home! ?
