One of the things we can't wait to do once it's safe to travel is to visit Japan and savour halal mouth-watering Japanese cuisine! With a variety of halal food, Osaka is always a top destination for Muslim travellers in Japan. One halal restaurant that stands out in Osaka is Matsuri! Known for its DIY takoyaki sets, okonomiyaki, Kobe beef, ramen and other scrumptious dishes, Matsuri is one of our favourite restaurants in Osaka ?
The restaurant just reopened after its closure during COVID-19. And now, it's giving us even more reasons to love it! They have recently launched an all-you-can-eat menu from as affordable as JPY1500! (SGD19.50/MYR60/IDR198.3k).

The 60-minutes course (JPY1500) offers you free-flow orders on their sushi, ramen, takoyaki, Japanese curry and more! It even includes takoyaki which is new on their menu ?

For the 90-minutes course, you'll be treated to more premium sushi and sashimi as well as various Teppan (hot griddle) dishes like okonomiyaki and yakisoba! Not to mention that you can cap off your meals with desserts like daifuku (mochi with sweet filling) and taiyaki (Japanese fish-shaped cake) too.
With affordable prices and such an extensive variety, Matsuri's all-you-can-eat menu is very attractive and we're definitely adding it to our list!
Halal marketplace
Besides launching their buffet, Matsuri has also started selling halal and vegetarian-friendly products so you can bring them home and whip up your own Japanese meal! Some of the products that you can find here are halal mirin, halal Japanese soy sauce, instant miso paste, Japanese curry sauce, Samurai ramen and more ? They'll even make perfect souvenirs to gift to your loved ones back home.

But that's not all! Besides cooking ingredients, Matsuri also sells instant halal bento sets from Royal Deli. Yes, this is the same halal bento that you can find in convenience stores in Tokyo, with choices like gyudon (beef bowl) and butter chicken. Perfect if you're staying in at your hotel during your vacay in Osaka ?
